For those of you who haven't been watching the Women's World Cup, Rutgers alum Carli Lloyd is really, really good at soccer. Perhaps, the best player in the world.
Lloyd scored on a penalty kick in the 69th minute in the United States' 2-0 victory over World No. 1 Germany to send the Americans to the World Cup final. Alex Morgan drew the PK after being taken down at the top of the box. Lloyd, the U.S. team captain, once again showed the ice water in her veins, placing her shot into the right side of the goal as the Germany goalie dove left.
