Leonte Carroo accused of slamming woman to ground, and other details about alleged incident

PISCATAWAY – Rutgers football star Leonte Carroo’s charges of simple assault under domestic violence are the result of accusations that he slammed a woman with whom he had been romantically involved into the concrete Saturday night, according to The Record of Bergen County.

Citing a complaint filed in Piscataway municipal court, the report states Carroo is accused of “picking her up and slamming her down on a concrete surface, injuring her left hip, both palms, left elbow and left side of the head.”

A Piscataway municipal court official told Gannett New Jersey that the court does not have a copy of the complaint.
