The Rutgers University football program has been drowning in drama and controversy as of late, but coach Kyle Flood doesn’t appear to be batting an eye. Speaking to reporters after practice today, Flood said he would indeed be coaching the team in its season opener against Norfolk State on Saturday.
“I will be coaching the game on Saturday,” Rutgers football coach said with conviction after Thursday’s practice. “It’s always great to have the support of your administration. I think when the players come out to practice and they see that your athletic director is here, I think that speaks to it.
