Tim Wright will wait no more to report to an NFL training camp. Having torn his ACL last offseason, Wright missed the entire 2016 campaign on the Lions roster. He re-joins a Lions team looking to rebound as they painfully missed the playoffs in 2016, despite needing to win just one of their final three games.
Wright burst onto the scene as a rookie in 2013, recording 54 receptions for the Buccaneers coached by, you guessed it Greg Schiano. He also scored five touchdowns, one more than his entire career at Rutgers. After the season he was traded to the New England Patriots who surrendered Pro Bowler Logan Mankins which caused some backlash.
