Butler native and former Scarlet Knights wide receiver Andrew Turzilli has been added to the local New York Giants preseason roster.
Turzilli only spent one season on the banks as a transfer who graduated from Kansas in 2014 with a degree in labor studies. Having never been to a bowl game, the 2014 team took on a rallying cry of “Do it for Drew”. At Rutgers he only hauled in 10 passes, but they went for 347 yards! That is not a misprint as four of the ten went for scores including one for 80 yards to turn the tide against Michigan in what became Rutgers first Big Ten victory.
