Jason McCourty is following a former college and NFL teammate to Cleveland as part of the Browns' offseason spending spree to become competitive again.
McCourty is expected to sign a two-year deal with the Browns barring a late setback, as first reported by NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Multiple reports placed the veteran cornerback in Cleveland over the last two days to meet with team officials, tour the facility and take a physical.
The former Rutgers star will reunite with wide receiver Kenny Britt, his former teammate at Rutgers and with the Tennessee Titans. Britt signed a four-year, $32.
