PISCATAWAY — The good news for Rutgers fans? The Scarlet Knights only trail 7-0 against Iowa on Saturday afternoon in the Big Ten opener at High Point Solutions Stadium.
The bad news? Rutgers may be without its star offensive player for the rest of the game — and potentially for the long term — after Janarion Grant was carted off due to what appears to be a serious injury.
With 4:35 remaining in the half, Grant hauled in a screen pass from Chris Laviano and turned in a highlight-reel sprint, breaking four tackles en route to a 76-yard gain to the Iowa 3-yard line.
