Jabrill Peppers 'as good as there is' in 20-year career of Rutgers coach Chris Ash

PISCATAWAY -- First, the opposing coach was asked about Jabrill Peppers.

Then the offensive coordinator. Then the defensive coordinator. And somewhere in the building the special teams coordinator likely was thinking about Peppers, too.

Suffice it to say that not many players in the country currently -- maybe ever -- demand as much attention from their opponent as Peppers, Michigan's three-phase star from Paramus Catholic High School.

"He can do it all," Rutgers coach Chris Ash said. "He's obviously got good size, freakish athletic ability, good ball skills. He's tough, not afraid to hit you.
