True freshman running back Isaih Pacheco has been one of the early camp standouts. That continued Thursday as he made a nifty one-handed grab during receiving drills. Rutgers has a deep backfield this fall, but with each passing day Pacheco seems more likely to carve out a significant role in the offense.
Rutgers had several players in green limited jerseys a day after the first full pads practice of the summer.
Wide receiver Mohamed Jabbie was the most notable new player with a green jersey. The others:
