PISCATAWAY -- By any statistical measure, Rutgers has the worst wide receiver corps in the Big Ten. Through 10 games, Rutgers' wide receivers have combined for only 47 of the team's 118 receptions.
The situation has worsened over the last six weeks, as Rutgers' wide receivers have combined to snag 13 receptions since the Ohio State game.
After his receivers combined for just three of the team's seven receptions in last Saturday's loss at Penn State, Chris Ash conceded the wide-receiver struggles is a major reason for the ineptitude in the passing game.
