COLUMBUS, Ohio — If Vince Okruch could bring measuring tape with him to Ohio Stadium and gauge the dimensions of the field and the goal-posts, he probably would.
The Rutgers special teams coordinator won't, of course. But, in his attempt to ease his players' concerns over Ohio State's eye-popping stadium, Okruch did his best Gene Hackman impression.
In the movie Hoosiers, Hackman's character, Norman Dale, measures the height of the rim and the distance between the hoop and the free throw line on the Butler University court in an attempt to ease his players' anxiety over the mega-seat arena.
