The majority of Olympic Sports coaches contracts have standard performance incentives that include: 3% bonus (on base salary) for earning conference Coach of the Year; 5% bonus for earning national Coach of the Year; 2% for conference regular-season championship; 4% for conference-tournament championship; 4% for qualifying for NCAA Tournament; 8% for qualifying for Final Four; 12% for winning National Championship; 1% if multi-year APR is 1000; 1% if team GPA is 3.2 or better.

Coaches leading teams with individual champions (i.e. tennis, gymnastics, track & field) feature these incentives: conference individual champion: 1% each athlete - up to a maximum of 6 athletes or 6% per event; individual NCAA qualifiers: 2% each athlete - up to a maximum of 3 athletes or 6% per event; individual NCAA Champion: 3% each athlete - up to a maximum of 2 athletes or 6% per event.
