It's the most elusive question fans have every year, and there's usually no solid answer as the number is ever changing.
But we may have an answer courtesy of an edit sent from a Rutgers staff member to a recruit: Four.
Now, this could easily just have been put together by a low-level recruiting assistant who has no idea what the true number is.
However, four does feel about right when you look at the number of targets Rutgers is still recruiting, and how many commitments it's already attained (20).
