CHICAGO — For perspective on just how many quarterbacks Rutgers has on its team heading into the 2016 season, consider this:
There are six running backs listed on the roster, and there's a good chance that at least four could rotate in and out during games throughout the season.
Meanwhile, the roster includes eight quarterbacks — six of whom are on scholarship — and, in a perfect world, head coach Chris Ash will only play one this fall.
It's no secret that Ash will oversee an open quarterback competition this summer, but he says only four of the eight QBs will have a shot at earning the starting nod.
