PISCATAWAY -- The first question Chris Ash received during Rutgers' annual Media Day press conference Sunday focused on the areas in which his team has improved the most.
"I would start with the quarterback position,'' the Scarlet Knights coach said. "I think we are improved at the quarterback position. We've got three guys that will be getting a lot of reps and we've been mixing them in with the ones and the twos, and I do think we're a lot better at that position.''
Three guys for one starting position. The Scarlet Knights are two weeks into a five-week preseason, and Ash said he's not yet ready to anoint a starter in a competition between Louisville grad-transfer Kyle Bolin, fourth-year junior Giovanni Rescigno and freshman Johnathan Lewis.
