Can we define a "successful" year for this program based on where we stand right now? Is it improvement over where we are now? Is it being competitive in certain games? Is it "x" wins?

Ash was very vocal in establishing a bowl game as a viable goal, so there is no way for Rutgers to declare this season an overall success short of a 5-3 finish from here (or 4-4, we suppose, with some APR help).
