PISCATAWAY — As the mother of a 3-year old who recently started nursery school, Laura Brand-Sias is aware of the effects bullying can have on children.
"I think everyone has a story of being bullied, or being a bystander to bullying, or potentially being the bully,'' the Rutgers women's lacrosse coach said. "That just triggered an emotion in me that (bullying) is happening at all levels. So it just got me thinking it was an opportunity for us to impact change.''
To that end, the Rutgers women's lacrosse team recently started an anti-bullying campaign called "It's Not B1G to Make Others Feel Small.
