Maryland went to Texas and stunned the Longhorns in front of their home crowd, scoring 51 points in the process. Michigan also traveled to Texas, playing Florida at AT&T Stadium, and had a dominant (if not always pretty) defensive performance. And, while Penn State didn't play an opponent at that level, the Nittany Lions looked mighty good in defeating Akron at home.

So what does it mean for Rutgers? Well, if the Scarlet Knights weren't already well aware that their conference schedule is brutal, they are now -- and a few opponents looked better than they probably expected.
