PISCATAWAY — The best way to get to know a coach is often to talk to the coaches who have worked with him, and I had a lengthy conversation with Tom Herman about his friend Chris Ash on Monday. The two worked on the Ohio State staff together for two years, and before that, got to know each other as assistant coaches at Iowa State.
You can read some of his thoughts in my column this morning on Ash's well-received introductory press conference. But I had plenty leftover in my notebook, including one quote from Herman that likely is going to get a "HALLELUJAH!
