Here's a dream coaching staff that makes sense for Rutgers coach Chris Ash

The recently fired Miami Dolphins offensive coordinator ran a variation of Chip Kelly’s spread attack. While it didn’t work in the NFL, it’s been wildly successful in the college game and Chris Ash already said he prefers to run a spread-based multiple attack. A Scranton, Pa., native and a Cornell graduate, Lazor has spent most of his 15 years coaching in the NFL but did serve a two-year stint as offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach at Virginia.

Fired after four-plus seasons as the head coach at North Texas, McCarney offered Ash his first major college opportunity, hiring the new Rutgers coach as a graduate assistant in 2000 before promoting him to defensive backs coach in 2002.
