Whether he admitted it beforehand or not, every position on the Rutgers football team was open heading into Chris Ash’s first training camp. While he was just nine months on the job at the time, every player was an unknown quantity.
Now? The Rutgers depth chart is a lot more stabilized. While there are a handful of wide open positions, Ash dismissed a question earlier this week that suggested widespread uncertainty in his starting lineup.
“Really it’s not that many,’’ Ash said. “Quarterback and running back are the two. Right guard is one spot out of five on the offensive line.
