PISCATAWAY -- Okay, so burying the never-ending quarterback Rutgers controversy after Week 1 was premature, to say the least. After Kyle Bolin's performance against Eastern Michigan, it's alive.
Bolin was terrible in his second game as Rutgers starter. He completed 17 of 37 passes for 198 yards with two interceptions, including a devastating throw in the fourth quarter that was returned 71 yards into Rutgers territory. He showed none of the poise that he did in keeping this offense steady in the opening loss to No. 8 Washington.
But if you're rushing to shove him to the bench, you've lost sight of the bigger picture with this program.
