He didn't mention Washington State in 2015, Minnesota in 2016 or Eastern Michigan last month.
Suffice it to say, there have been a lot of bitter finishes swung on a bad break or two over the last four years, which made Saturday's 14-12 victory against Purdue (3-4, 1-3) all the more sweet to the veterans who have endured those speedbumps.
