Chris Ash isn't ready to turn the page to 2018 on Rutgers quarterback situation.
Redshirt junior Giovanni Rescigno will make his seventh straight start at 4 p.m. today in the season finale against Michigan State, sources told NJ Advance Media.
A boisterous segment of Rutgers fans looking forward to the future made it clear that they want to see redshirt freshman Johnathan Lewis make his first career start.
But, reading between the lines of Ash's recent remarks, it's no surprise that Rescigno is the choice.
Ash decided by Thursday morning but declined to share it publicly because he said he had not informed the team at that point.
