This was a battle: Rutgers came out ready to play and gave Seton Hall everything they had for the first 3 quarters of the game. The Pirates were on their heels and took a long time to figure out the Rutgers defense. However, Rutgers wore down late and a battle tested team was able to pull away.
Ibrahima Diallo: Plastered to the bench for all of the season, Diallo played a ton in this game and mostly gave Seton Hall big men fits. He was invaluable and played smart and within himself. However, foul trouble proved to be his downfall.
