Savon Huggins was back at Rutgers earlier this week visiting the Hale Center to catch up with his former teammates, coaches and academic advisers.
The Hale Center was Huggins' home for 3-1/2 years before he decided to transfer to Division 1-AA Northern Iowa in December for his final year of eligibility. Even though he's been gone for five months, Huggins still felt welcome at Rutgers' football facility.
"I talked to all the coaches and the people around to see how they're doing," Huggins said. "There's no bad blood or anything between us. Everything is mutual.
