Quentin Gause, who was waived by the Philadelphia Eagles in the final round of cuts in early September, and followed that with a short stint with the New England Patriots, was just signed by the Denver Broncos to their practice squad.
This was reported yesterday by The Denver Post in an article that also had former Vanderbilt tight end Steve Scheu joining the Bronco’s practice squad with Gause.
Gause, a 6-foot, 243-pound linebacker for the Scarlet Knights for four years from 2012-2015, had a Rutgers record of 223 tackles, three sacks and 27.5 tackles for loss.
