Wednesday, former Rutgers commit Amad Anderson pledged to the Purdue Boilermakers following an official visit to the school last weekend.
The three-star wide receiver decommitted from Rutgers on October 18, and there was hope that he'd return to the fold.
But the allure of the Boilermakers won out as Anderson got to experience the program from close range.
Trouble became apparent one week and a half ago before his decommitment, when Anderson removed photos of Rutgers from his Twitter page.
At the time, his father, Amad Sr., told NJ.com: "We are listening to schools, but nothing official.
