LONG VALLEY — Former Rutgers fullback Michael Burton was back in his hometown Saturday, hosting his first football camp for about 130 kids at West Morris Central High, his alma mater.
The camp was a fundraiser for the Embrace Kids Foundation, a New Brunswick-based organization that supports the families of children stricken with cancer, sickle cell and other serious disorders in the New York/New Jersey area.
"It's great to do it for such a great cause," Burton said. "I've been to several of these camps before for other guys, and it's just special to see all the kids come out, and have a really good time.
