It’s been a busy couple of weeks and Big Ten play is in full swing for all of the fall sports. In an effort to get you caught up with several Rutgers programs, here is an update on recent results.
The Scarlet Knights ended a two game losing streak with a double overtime victory against rival Penn State on the road Thursday night, which we recapped the game here. On Sunday afternoon, they continued to get back on track with a 2-0 victory over Northwestern (4-6-2; 2-2-1). Nneke Moneme and Brittany LaPlant each scored, while goalkeeper Meagan McClelland made three saves for her seventh shutout of the season.
