Leading up to the Scarlet Knights' bout against the Buckeyes, Rutgers head football coach Chris Ash received a huge recruiting win, landing a player who could potentially serve as Rutgers' future at quarterback.
It all went down Friday night when Zamar Wise, his father Philip and quarterback trainer Jeff Lucien, migrated to the lobby of the Hyatt Regency in New Brunswick for a sit-down with head coach Chris Ash and offensive coordinator Jerry Kill.
Soon after that, Wise made his intentions clear, and Ash scored his first commitment -- a big one at that -- of the 2019 class.
