Ex-Rutgers WR Janarion Grant optimistic on NFL future: 'My senior season was very frustrating'

Heading into his fifth-year senior campaign last fall, Janarion Grant said all the right things about the ankle injury that caused him to miss the final eight Rutgers games of the 2016 season.

The 5-10, 178-pound wide receiver/return specialist declared himself healthy at the start of training camp, but was clearly slowed by the injury at times during the Scarlet Knights' 4-8 campaign.

Grant played in seven games, hauling in 16 passes for 167 yards and a touchdown while ranking third on the team with 600 all-purpose yards. It was a disappointing finish to a decorated career that saw the Trilby, Fla.
