Ohio State has battened down the hatches since since Urban Meyer was placed on leave due to the Zach Smith domestic violence scandal.
The school has yet to make acting head coach Ryan Day, or anyone else on its coaching staff or team, available to local media this summer. It has also restricted reporter to viewing just a few moments of training camp practice. But The Athletic's Ari Wasserman reported some analysis from an unnamed source who recently attended a Buckeyes practice on Tuesday, and this nugget about former Rutgers coach Greg Schiano, now the team's defensive coordinator, was included:
