Saturday, Salem (N.J.) running back Jonathan Taylor became the second Rutgers class of 2017 recruit to decommit from the program, which is off to a 2-6 start.
Taylor took and official visit to Wisconsin two weeks ago, where the No. 10 Badgers lost a close battle to the No. 2 Ohio State Buckeyes.
And it was only a matter of time until he decided to back out of his pledge.
Taylor committed to Rutgers the same day of the Nike N.J. Opening Regional, where the country first became accustomed to who he is.
