Red Bank (N.J.) Catholic tight end Kevin Bauman projects not only as the top tight end in N.J.'s stacked 2020 tight end class, but also one of the top tight ends in entire the country. Only a sophomore, the 6-5, 230-pounder already holds offers from Rutgers, Syracuse, Virginia and Boston College and it's only matter of time before schools like Notre Dame, which has recruited him for over a year, joins the race.
Tuesday, Bauman visited the in-state team to see just how involved Rutgers will be in his recruitment, after being the first school to offer last summer, following its passing camp.
