Cam’Ron Stewart had been committed since March of this year so it was merely a formality for him to make it official Wednesday.
Stewart fills the biggest need Rutgers has to bring their defense to the next level; pass rusher. Despite his listed height (6’4”), Cam’Ron can get very low and shows explosive ability off the edge out of a two or three point stance. He does a good job of maintaining leverage and keeping one arm free to grab ball carriers or knock down passes at the line. If he is initially held up, he has the ability to accelerate a second time, not just once at the snap.
