DePaul (Wayne, N.J.) rising senior Khris Banks is slowly but surely making a name for himself, step-by-step, and camp-by-camp.
The 6-3, 290-pound offensive linemen turned up the heat on his recruitment in April after dominating The Opening N.J. Regional, where he routinely beat some of the region's top pass rushers off the edge.
And he was a top candidate for the event's offensive line MVP, but teammate Anthony Marinelli just edged him out.
"I had never been to the Nike Opening," Banks told NJ.com. "I didn't really expect it -- the competition level there and the intensity.
