It came down to a two-team race, but in the end, Boston College edged out Rutgers for the services of DePaul (Wayne, N.J.) three-star offensive lineman Khris Banks.

Banks also held offer from UCF, Buffalo, Central Michigan, Kent State, Marshall, Temple and a few others.
He turned up the heat on his recruitment in April after dominating The Opening N.J. Regional, where he routinely beat some of the region's top pass rushers off the edge.
And he was a top candidate for the event's offensive line MVP, but teammate Anthony Marinelli edged him out.
