Timber Creek (Erial, N.J.) has been a hotbed for high school football talent over the last decade, with a number of Chargers ending up on the Rutgers roster. Just last year, the staff added Naijee Jones to a long list of players to ascend from the creek to the banks. And the staff hopes Deion Jennings could be next in line, as he was extended an offer Monday, following a standout performance at Saturday's East Coast Elite Camp.
"Me and coach Ash, we were just talking and he said that he liked the way I improved from the beginning of camp to the end of camp," said Jennings, the 6-1, 195-pound rising senior.
