Rutgers had its unofficial dress rehearsal of sorts Saturday, holding its only open practice of the summer as part of Fan Appreciation Day at HighPoint.com Stadium in Piscataway.
The team practiced and scrimmaged for about two-and-a-half hours with two weeks to go before the season opener against Texas State on Sept. 1.
