The Rutgers football coaching staff is preparing for the Big Ten opener Saturday at the Ohio State University, but continue to put work on the recruiting trail. The Scarlet Knights secured a commitment from Running Back Kay’Ron Adams, interestingly out of the State of Ohio. He announced tonight via local television network WKBN:
The Warren, OH native holds offers from eight FBS schools per 247sports. Fellow Big Ten school Minnesota and Pittsburgh have also shown interest. At 5’10” and 190 pounds, Adams is a solid three-star prospect, the 49th best in Ohio for the 2019 class according to the 247 composite which includes other sources.
