PISCATAWAY -- The reality of the situation for Rutgers on Saturday is this: Nothing that happens against Morgan State can erase the taste of last week's upset loss to Eastern Michigan.
Not a win. Not a convincing win. Not a shutout win.
Rutgers have to wait until next week against Nebraska for its first chance to offset the shock of losing at home against Eastern Michigan.
But that doesn't mean it's not an important game for Rutgers to end a nation-long 11-game losing streak.
Morgan State hasn't scored a point in back-to-back losses to Towson and Albany to open the season.
