Chris Carlin will remain on Rutgers radio even if Mike Francesa's replacement: Source

Chris Carlin isn't going anywhere, Rutgers fans.

While reports are that Carlin might soon be taking over the most desired sports talk radio microphone in the country, sources told NJ Advance Media that Carlin is expected to stay as the play-by-play announcer for Rutgers football even if he is part of a new show on WFAN 660-AM.

Newsday reported that an announcement is expected Tuesday naming Carlin and former Jets star Bart Scott as co-hosts for a show that will debut in January as the replacement for the iconic ranting Mike Francesa during the afternoon drive on 660-AM.
