Chris Ash has been consistently candid in addressing his thoughts on the team throughout training camp and after games this season. Today was no different and he pulled no punches in commenting on his disappointment in the loss to Iowa. He expressed that while there were some positives, he doesn’t believe in moral victories.
He addressed the wasted timeouts due to the offense lining up in wrong formations, and a substitution issue on defense. Ash stressed the need to clean those types of mistakes.
Ash did say he is very encouraged overall by the play of Rutgers and emphasized the improvement since Week 1 against Washington.
