At the end of his Monday press conference, Chris Ash was pressed on his concern about the Rutgers fan base's apathy towards his program during the Scarlet Knights' recent slide.
The Rutgers head coach said fan reaction is "always a concern,'' then spent the next two minutes talking about why there's hope for the future.
"When you're going through a tough situation, trying to build a program and turning things around, that (fan apathy) is (a concern) because the perception for recruiting is important,'' Ash said.
