Chris Ash: I'll get Rutgers turned around, reward 'faith without results'

Chris Ash started his third season at Rutgers discussing the postseason.

Seven games in, the Scarlet Knights are hurtling toward their worst record in well over a decade, and the heat on their head coach has intensified as defeats have piled up during what is now a six-game losing skid.

But Ash said Monday he sees better days ahead, and he remains confident his plan will work, and he will get Rutgers turned around.

"Guys, we are trying to address everything that happens, from turnovers to special teams to running the ball and stopping the run," Ash said as the Scarlet Knights (1-6 overall, 0-4 Big Ten) look ahead to Saturday's Homecoming game against Northwestern (3-3, 3-1) at HighPoint.
