It was back in July, one week before Rutgers was set to begin its second training camp under coach Chris Ash, when Sebastian Joseph said he didn't care what others were predicting for the Scarlet Knights.
The fifth-year senior defensive tackle was aware that Rutgers was universally picked to finish last in the Big Ten. But he said it didn't matter.
"We don't pay the outside noise any attention,'' Joseph said then. "Right now we have a real focused group of guys and our goal is to just get better. That's what we've been doing this offseason.
