Can Rutgers revive pass rush in 2018? Defensive line must fix 'one of our biggest weaknesses'

Outside of Rutgers' defensive line room, the pressing concern about the unit is depth.

Internally? The Scarlet Knights are concerned about getting to the quarterback - something they have struggled mightily with recently.

"Last year, our pass rush wasn't where it needed to be," nose tackle Julius Turner said. That can be said about the past few years. Rutgers was 112th in the nation and 12th in the Big Ten with 16 sacks as a team last fall. It was the third consecutive season it has been ranked 91st or worst in the country and 12th or worst in the league after finishing 33rd nationally in 2014.
