Rutgers has set a bowl game as its goal for 2018.
To accomplish that, the Scarlet Knights will most likely need to go 6-6. That’s possible given their schedule this fall, but it’s far from a guarantee. With five games against teams expected to be in the preseason Top 25 - Michigan, Michigan State, Ohio State, Penn State and Wisconsin - and a potential sixth against Northwestern, Rutgers won’t have much room for error.

To have a chance at a .500 finish and a bowl bid, Rutgers will obviously have to improve as a team.
