While seven of his former college teammates had to sit through the seven rounds of the NFL Draft before finding a new home, J.J. Denman needed even more patience.
But the former Rutgers offensive lineman's wait is over, according to a source.
Denman accepted an invite to the Buffalo Bills rookie mini-camp, which started Friday and lasts through the weekend.
Signed as a four-star recruit out of Yardley, Pa. in 2012, Denman, who had originally committed to Wisconsin, played in 31 games with 19 straight starts during his Rutgers career.
